PSA was the original low fare airline with frequent flights throughout the West.

PSA 8/81-6/87 I was fortunate enough to work for the original low fare airline, Pacific Southwest Airlines. This San Diego based airline was in service from May 6, 1949 to April 8, 1988 The story goes …. Herb Kelleher, founder of Southwest Airlines, was given a back-office tour of PSAs operations, went back to Texas, and the rest is history. Hundreds of us still get-together after 35 years.
